Keith Beresford // Vice President

Manager Fuel and Sustainability Engineering, Qantas

Keith Beresford was elected to the CoM in 2019. Keith is certified in MAICD/MAviation Mgt/CASA Licensed Engineer/Cert IV WorkPlace training/Boeing MEDA Approved Investigator. Keith is in the internal sub-committee for EEV advising on policies, procedures, and corporate governance in 2024.

James Woodhouse // Vice President

James was elected to the CoM in 2022. James has extensive experience as a Primary School Teacher with a passion to nurture natural curiosity and support those around him. James is in the external sub-committee for EEV advising on K-10 strategy in 2024.

 

Natalie Zheng // Secretary

Legal Counsel, AFL

Natalie Zheng (JD, BSc, BA) was elected to CoM in 2022. As a competition, risk and regulatory lawyer, Natalie has supported and provided advisory services to corporations, government organisations and not-for-profits across Australia and globally across a wide range of sectors. Natalie is in the internal sub-committee for EEV advising on constitution revision in 2024.

Liuyang Li // Treasurer

Financial Controller, Commit Co

Liuyang was elected to CoM in 2023. With extensive experience in finance and accounting, Liuyang brings a strong expertise in financial governance and analytics. Liuyang is in the internal sub-committee for EEV advising on audit requirements and processes.

Stephanie Mitten // Head of Engagement

Government Liaison Lead, Sustainability Victoria

Stephanie Mitten (B Arts, PostGradCert Policy & Governance) was elected to CoM in 2021. Stephanie has worked across state and local government as well as multiple statutory authorities in key stakeholder engagement roles, most recently as Government Liaison Lead at Sustainability Victoria. Stephanie is in the external sub-committee for EEV advising on EEV’s fundraising strategy.

Travis Gandy // General Committee Member

Chief Operating Officer, Compass Education

Travis Gandy (BAcc, MIT), was elected to the CoM in 2021. Travis brings 10 years experience as a senior executive in Education Management software and eLearning with a particular focus on innovation and process improvement. Travis is in the external sub-committee advising on EEV’s work prioritisation and decision processes in 2024.

Michelle was elected to the CoM in 2022. Michelle has a degree in Engineering and lives in regional Victoria, with over 15 years in the manufacturing industry. Michelle is in the external sub-committee.

Marita Jamieson // General Committee Member

VCE Environmental Science Teacher, Marist College Bendigo

Marita was elected to the CoM in 2023. She is a dedicated Environmental Science Teacher with significant experience in VCE study design development, exam assessment, and education resource design. Marita is in the external sub-committee advising on EEV’s VCE programs.
