STEM for Waterways (Year 3-6) Teacher PD Session

Discover how to use Design Thinking and real STEM challenges to engage your students.

This professional development has been designed for Year 3-6 teachers who want to combine Science and Design and Technologies in their curriculum.

During this one-day workshop, you will:
Learn how to teach real and integrated STEM projects
Experience activities that connect your students to local waterways
Explore Melbourne Zoo and learn about animal adaptations and life cycles
Talk with Zoo Teachers and other classroom teachers

You will grow your knowledge, teaching skills and confidence:
Gain ideas for sparking student interest and curiosity
Learn up-to-date information and real-world examples
Discover real ways to consolidate student learning
Access lesson plans and resources that you can use right away

Recognition: certificate for 5 hours of PD
Australian Professional Standards for Teachers: 2.1, 3.2, 3.4

Join us for individual workshops or complete the whole series.
