Join Environment Education Victoria on the SV Pelican for a professional learning adventure in our blue backyard, Port Phillip Bay.

Share in the stories of the bay, participate in scientific investigations happening on board and get up close and personal with life underwater.

This one-day professional learning will immerse educators in experiences which focus on the bay as an important resource for teaching and learning. Marine educators, scientists and other researchers will share their knowledge and invite you to create learning that brings Port Phillip into your teaching.

The day is designed with educators in mind. Whether primary, secondary, tertiary or community educators, the activities will be targeted to suit your needs. This event is co-hosted by Pelican Expeditions and Saltwater Projects, as part of the Two Bays program 2018.

Cost includes:

  • Morning tea (BYO lunch)
  • Full day on board SV Pelican including access to a range of scientific and marine education experts
  • Hands on activities
  • Resource lists and tips
  • A certificate of attendance
