Eingana May 2020 Edition
Theme: From The Ashes
The recent devastating bushfire season in Australia has raised many questions not only for our nation, but for the global community who looked on in horror as our land burned.
What are the far reaching ecological and biodiversity impacts on a land that's been decimated by bushfires? With the intense smoke and air pollution that blanketed both regional and metro areas, what are the ongoing health impacts of these fires and how do we manage this public health threat in the future? How do we deal with the mental trauma associated with people who witness these firestorms? And what is the economic/agricultural/ educational impact on ourselves and our children?
The first issue of Eingana for 2020 focuses on the bushfire crisis in Australia and is titled "From the Ashes" We are now calling for submissions from all members and friends of members, who have a particular area of interest or expertise around this topic.
This edition is a PRINT edition. Whether you work in local government, state government, schools, the not-for-profit sector, tertiary institution or early childhood centre, we’d love to hear and share your stories, research findings and reflections.
